Hi there, I dont have much to say about stanek. But my own personal experience has been one of complete dissallusionment with amazons reviews now. I have always purchased items from amazon based on reviews most of the time. One particular book I purchased (based on reviews) turned out to be a dissapointment. It was an alternative lifestyle type of book which challenged modern living and put forward an alternative way of living. Although the author occassionally made some good points, I personally found that most of it was full of theoretical holes and contradictions. I thought I would have a go at a review and posted a personal account of what I thought about the book and the authors faults when making his assumptions about people. I gave it 2 stars (feeling generous otherwise I would have given it 1 star). One week later my review was removed?? Why? I didnt use bad language and I certainly do not have any hidden agnedas. I'm just a customer who bought a book and posted my views and thoughts and rated the book. Not only will I never trust amazons reviews again but I will never buy anything from amazon again! Interesting to read your thoughts guys. You are not alone!
