Seven Waters Trilogy Comments

Seven Waters Trilogy (Juliet Marillier)

"

Celtic fantasy that rocks. Marillier's books have some of the best female characterization in fantasy. These books have a decidedly romantic bent to them. Then again, what books don't? Well worth the read for some of the best romantic fantasy out there.

I think you mean Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel's Dart, not Kashienda's Dart...
Another great Celtic Fantasy series is The Mists of Avalon saga by Marionn Zimmer Bradley. Or maybe The Warriors of Alavna by N.M. Browne.

Somewhat difficult to find is this one. Holdstock's novel is an absolute masterpiece which (gasp) is rumored to be going out of print. A very original and poignant story, written beautifully. Nice to see this on the list.

I really enjoyed this book. I thought the ending was a bit unsatisfying though.

Another example of ancient gods coexisting with modern society is Guy Gavriel Kay's "Ysabel".
