Well I didn't really buy them, but it was my Birthday in August and I got a few books. Namely:

    1. Gormenghast by Mervyn Peake
    2. A Dance with Dragons by some author I don't know...
    3. Mythago Wood by Robert Holdstock
    4. The Adventures of Walter the Farting Dog (The last book of 3).

I bought Deadhouse Gates and Memories of Ice by Steven Erikson a few weeks ago and will soon be buying House of Chains.

I am about 300 pages in to Inheritance and I don't want to ruin it for you but I am disappointed. I have noticed that he is not that good of a writer. So don't get your hopes up but maybe you have already realized that so you are expecting it and prepared for the disappointing writing. Whatever the case I would suggest Patrick Rothfuss and Jim Butcher's "The Codex Alera" bother really good series and really enjoyable to read.
