    Who has seen it?

Looks really good. I can't wait until the nitty gritty part of the storyline.

Watched it yesterday, I'm quite impressed but some (small)things are done a bit different from the book, can't wait for the next episode.

I watched it today. I thought it was quite good and I am usually quite critical of t.v. series and movies based on books.

It's a little funny to me that every bare chested man in a t.v. or movie after the 1980's must have a shaved chest no matter the time period or area of the world involved. I suppose its only fair since the women always have shaved legs and arm pits.

Lots of breasts in the movie. The part with Dany and Viserys was very erotic.

Overall I really liked it. yes they changed a few bits here or there but otherwise it was really good. Sansa is already a right old bitch from episode one.

Also in more good news, AGoT's has already been signed for a second season

Overall I've liked it. They couldnt have done it much better and if they did something different, there would again be people asking why they did it that way.
So, Im looking forward to episode 2.

And to watch it with my GF who didnt read the book, I want to know how she'll see it.

I'm only guessing at the power dynamics, but I think it benefits the show to have G.R. Martin as a producer. I think so many directors want to rewrite or even ignore the book as base material when making a movie. It looks like aside from the Dothraki which were represented by multiple races as characters in the show, everybody pretty much looks like their literary counterpart. I thought the opening sequence with the changing map was cool too. I usually fast forward through those openings. They obviously spent some money on this production.

I thought the first episode was terrific.
